strength test (push-ups).All students in grades K-2 must be tested in their loco motor skills. Kindergarten is working on walking, running, jumping, and hopping. First grade is working on jumping, hopping, skipping, and galloping. Second and third grade are working skipping, galloping, leaping, and sliding.
Fourth through eighth grade are working on Physical Fitness Test. Students in the 4th, 6th, and 8th grade will be sent to the state to see if they are improving. The test will be given three times a year. September, January, and May. The test includes a cardiovascular endurance test (P.A.C.E.R.), flexibility test (sit and reach), a muscular endurance test (sit-ups), and a muscular strength test (push-ups). |
